Biography

Author and attorney Julie L. Moran’s published articles cover a broad range of topics, from legal and parenting issues to health, medicine, finance, biographical features, and travel. They have appeared in a wide variety of consumer publications that include American Baby, Woman's World, Woman's Day, Senior Living, Delicious!, Natural Health, The Single Parent, Carolina Style, Military Lifestyle, New Jersey Monthly, Weekly Reader's Current Health 1 and 2, Hopscotch for Girls, and several others. Her published books include The Six-Spoke Approach to Golf, which she co-authored with Golf Magazine Top 100 Teacher Tom Patri, published by The Lyons Press in 2005, and Golf Vacations Even Non-Golfers Will Enjoy: The Southeastern United States, published in 1996 by John F. Blair, Publisher. She has also written five how-to books for Canadian small business publisher FabJob.

She edited the Fordham Law Review and the Fordham Environmental Law Reporter while attending that University’s School of Law and is a member of Phi Beta Kappa and the Author's Guild.

Moran lives in Los Angeles, California, with her husband and their two children. She received her law degree in 1988 from Fordham University School of Law and a Master’s degree in professional writing from the University of Southern California in 2006.
